Find the gaps in your insurance
Covera compares the policies you add with the things you own, such as your home, car and e-bike, and flags anything with no matching policy. It checks for 7 common gaps, from a vehicle without insurance to a household without personal liability cover. It is free for up to 5 policies.

What is a coverage gap?
A coverage gap is something you own or a risk you run that none of your policies covers. Typical examples are a new e-bike that was never added to a policy, a rented flat without contents insurance, or no personal liability cover when someone in your household damages someone else’s property.
Which gaps does Covera check?
Covera runs 7 checks on the policies and belongings you add:
- Vehicle without a policy: a car, motorbike, bicycle or boat you added with no matching policy.
- Car without damage cover: a car policy where no own-damage (comprehensive) cover was found.
- Home without contents cover: a property you added with no contents policy.
- Owned home without building cover: a property you describe as owned (for example “owned” or “koop”) with no building policy.
- No personal liability policy in your overview.
- No travel policy in your overview.
- No legal expenses policy once you have more than 2 policies.
How does the gap check work?
Add your policies from a PDF, photo or screenshot, then add what you own on the “What is insured” screen: your home, vehicles and valuables. Covera links each item to the policies that mention it and shows a warning on every item with no policy recorded.
What is the coverage score?
The coverage score from 0 to 100 summarises how many open points your overview has. Every possible gap, possible overlap or expired policy lowers it, weighted by how serious it is, so you can see at a glance whether something needs attention.
Does a flagged gap mean I am not insured?
Not always. Covera only sees the policies you added, and some cover sits inside another policy, such as liability inside a home policy or travel cover with a bank card. Treat a gap as a question to check with your insurer, not as advice to buy insurance.
Frequently asked questions
Does Covera tell me which insurance to buy?
No. Covera is not an insurer or broker and gives no advice on which product to buy. It shows what is and is not in your overview so you can ask the right questions.
Do I have to enter everything I own?
No. Add the things that matter to you, like your home and vehicles. The more you add, the more gaps Covera can spot.
